    This is so close to what I was thinking about Kanai’s chapters, lol. What did you think of when Nilima was calling him out on his bs towards the end of our reading for tomorrow? I was like, “Finally, someone’s saying it.”

    HAHA thank you all for validating me and Carleigh. We knew this would make sense to somebody.

    Kanai annoys me as a character but I also agree with the statement that someone (I think it’s Piya, but it might be Nilima) makes toward the end of the reading for today about how he isn’t unlikable, even though he has so many obvious faults. My point here, though, was only that his chapters are so confusing, since often they’re stories within stories within a story…and all the characters are related/know each other but not all at the same time.
